Sort of. I used the same page background but have changed the header to a picture of a cracked MacBook Pro screen. I found it somewhere on the internet and I have no idea where. I have the original (1440×900) uploaded to the site if you want to download it. Its pretty cool looking if you ask me. Nauseating as a background though.

CONTEST! Leave a comment with a link to either a picture/artwork you took/created or one you would rather see as a header. Winner gets to have the header of their choice for a whole month. If its not your picture, you must credit the photographer so that I may give proper recognition. If you took the picture, you’ll get your name somewhere on the site. That is all! Go forth!

Still working on the new site. Got a little discouraged tonight after I spent about an hour wondering why my page wasn’t valid. Turned out to be the editor for some reason. Once I had uploaded the new site to the web, it validated just fine. That got me a little discouraged. Only really cause I wasted so much time and I hadn’t even made a mistake. On the other hand, I did get a few things updated and sorted out. I think I am going to change a few more things. Again, things are snowballing into much larger projects than I originally anticipate. But hey, what else is new? Right now I am having a little bit of a problem figuring out what other content, if any, that I would like to have on the site.

In other news, I am planning a trip out west to go snowboarding for a week. Not sure as to where and when yet, but I will be sure to post once I figure it out. If anyone knows of some good mountains out west, be sure to leave a message or email me.

It also appears as though my goal of moving out of my house by my birthday will be missed. I am not too worried about it though as my new goal is early 2007.  No hard dates yet but I know for certain that I will be out of here by then.  Living at home has its pros and cons, but I am ready for a scenery change. Time and jobs will tell where my next residence will be

Now I actually have something more substantial. I’m shooting for a launch by the middle of November, but I’m not going to promise anything. I’ve decided that I don’t really have all that much content aside from my artwork so I’ve elected to ditch the blog page (Especially since I have this) as well as the other pages that were really just pictures of nothing in particular. The new version is going to look more slick and refined, both on the surface and under the skin. I’ve commented my CSS this time as well as tried to keep things a bit more organized. Take a peak below.

I got some navigation done as well as made some progress figuring out exactly what I would like to have and where. Right now the content pages are still up to change. I also dont have any other pages created so making up the nav and everything is pretty easy right now. So really what you are about to see is just the test bed for what I am planning. Dont come to any conclusions yet. This is still a work in progress. I’m going to say not even 10% done yet. Screenshot after the jump.
