On the Worst Album Covers Ever

While traipsing about the internet the other day I happened across this PDF of the Worst Album Covers Ever. I hope you all get the chance to take a look and have a good laugh. Curiosity almost wants me to go look for their music, but my rational side says no.

Haha, I love the “All My Friends Are Dead” cover. The font looks so happy, and the entire thing reeks of melancholy overkill. It’s hilarious.

Oh my god, I was excited to see that it had the Christian Crusaders… but then I nearly had a stroke to see that they were accompanied by none other then Al Davis.
    Wow, talk about orgasmic.

I’ve only heard of the zip zap raff one and that’s because it was the desktop on the web Mac in the GD lab for a week. I’ve noticed a few things. Most of those albums are Christian groups (Swing that Gospel axe?), the artist suffers from one or more forms of retardation (that no handed lady, most of the people on the album), or the artist is probably a registered sex offender by this point (every guy on every cover).
Larry, I, too, love the “All my friends are dead” cover. If I ever write a children’s book, that’s the name of it, right there.

The best part of it is the caption below the picture – to paraphrase, it’s something like “a ministry dedicated to the youth victims of drug abuse.”

If I met that man or listened to his album, I’m pretty sure it would be the thing that would turn me to drug abuse.
