On a change in look
It is probably rather obvious that I have changed the theme here a little bit. Not only does this keep me a little more interested and involved, It also provides something new and pretty for you all to look at. This is pretty bone stock right now. I added in a LOGIN button for my own convenience mostly but I encourage all who read this often to sign up. Spam isn’t too bad right now, but I don’t really anticipate it getting better.
As for the new look, I have some ideas. Colors will likely stay the same for now. I’m trying to encourage winter. The upper and lower headers are likely to change very soon and I think the stripes need to be toned down a bit. Thats first order of business. I like this layout, but there appear to be a few things that are not quite right. The about section at the bottom of the page being one, and the next page and previous page links appear to be unstyled as well. This is fine by me as it gives me something to fix and work towards.
Lastly for those who do not know, I am moving. I have gotten a job in Maine working at St. Josephs College as the Graphic Designer for the Marketing department. I start January 2nd, so this holiday season is going to be a busy one! I am going to continue to do Freelance work for SNAP and once I am settled, I may start looking for more freelance work. As of now, I have not packed a single thing, nor am I sure of a place to live. So once I find out, you can be sure that I will be a little pressed for time!
